Green Initiatives

At Star Laundry Services, our environmental responsibilities are important to us.

Over the years, we have strived to increase sustainable conservation practices that minimize water and energy waste. Through the use of water reclamation processes, we are able to consistently save water.

Star Laundry Services also uses wet cleaning methods (also known as green cleaning), which is a non-toxic alternative to regular dry cleaning. According to the EPA, wet cleaning does not use hazardous chemicals, generate waste or impact air pollution.

Additionally, since our laundry plant is located in San Diego, we are able to lower our environmental impact by reducing all transportation exhaust fumes and carbon-based fuels.

While delivering cost savings to our clients through green initiatives, we are able to maintain our excellent level of service and quality.
